SKILLS TRAINING COURSE FOR SECURITY GUARDS

POWER TO ARREST & WMD
This first mandatory course is already outlined by the Bureau and will necessarily be administered in the first 8 hours.

a)  Overview of Power to Arrest Manual.
b) Definition of Arrest and Discussion on the implication to this subject The Guard and the Company.
c) Discussion and Lecture on escalation and de-escalation techniques in the use of Force.  
d) Practice in the use of restraints and their implications.
e) Trespassing Law and implication of enforcement, including role-playing in the proper application on Trespass Law.
f) Completion on the Power to Arrest Manual, Final Test / Exam with 100% score in accordance with the Manual’s Administering Instructions.
